To follow up on the translation of basic World Heritage materials into Spanish, the Regional World Heritage Institute in Zacatecas (IRPMZ), a Category 2 Centre under the auspices of UNESCO, held a virtual meeting on November 22 with staff from UNESCO, ICCROM, and the governments of Chile and Spain.

Attending were Laura Frank of UNESCO, Eugene Jo of ICCROM, Pablo Jiménez representing the Spanish Ministry of Culture and the International Centre for Rock Art (ICRAR), and Andrea Margotta of the Chilean Ministry of Culture, Arts, and Heritage. Erika Rentería and Raúl Rodríguez were present on behalf of the IRPZM.

The meeting included progress on logistical matters for the translation of materials that will be published in 2025 and will benefit all Spanish-speakers around the world, especially those in Latin America and the Caribbean.
