Public Hearing: World Heritage and Development. Villa González Ortega

With the presence of Ms. Imelda Mauricio, Municipal President of Villa González Ortega, and Dr. José Francisco Román Gutiérrez, Director of the Regional Institute of World Heritage in Zacatecas, representing Mr. Alejandro Tello Cristerna, Governor of the State of Zacatecas, the Public Hearing “World Heritage and Development” was held on May 7th of this year in this municipality, which is part of the Camino Real de Tierra Adentro Cultural Route, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. During the Hearing, the proposals of the attendees were considered for the conservation of their cultural assets and, consequently, to promote proposals for economic and social development in the region.
