2nd Bolivian Meeting of Universities on Cultural and Natural Heritage
"Natural Heritage and the Environment"
Today, December 1, 2021, the Second Bolivian Meeting of Universities on Cultural and Natural Heritage began, under the theme of Natural Heritage and the Environment. This initiative is promoted by the Observatory of Archaeological Cultural Heritage, attached to the Institute of Anthropological Research (IIAA) of the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés, and the Urban Observatory of the Institute of Habitat Research (IIH) of the Universidad Mayor, Real Pontificia San Francisco Xavier de Chuquisaca.
Several Bolivian universities are participating in this valuable initiative, in addition to organizations and institutions that are interested and involved in the process. Such is the case of the Ibero-American Historical and Cultural Heritage Network, which is based at the Polytechnic University of Madrid (Spain). Dr. Sergio Padilla Cortez, Rector of the Royal and Pontifical University of San Francisco Xavier of Chuquisaca, delivered the opening remarks for this event.
