Podcast Echoes of Heritage. Episode 1. José Luis Perea González
The Regional World Heritage Institute in Zacatecas (RWHIZ), a Category 2 Center under the auspices of UNESCO, launches Echoes of Heritage, a new podcast conceived as a space for dialogue and reflection on the challenges, experiences, and perspectives related to World Heritage in Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean.
In the first episode, José Luis Perea González, technical secretary of the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH) Mexico, joins us in a conversation about his career and experience in the field of World Heritage. From his perspective and journey, the episode also addresses the Camino Real de Tierra Adentro (Royal Road of the Interior) and the main challenges facing Mexico in heritage matters, from the most immediate challenges to future prospects.
