Collaboration Agreement between RWHIZ, the INAH Zacatecas Center and the IZC for the dissemination of the world heritage of Zacatecas

Last Wednesday, November 5, a working meeting was held at the facilities of the Regional Institute of World Heritage in Zacatecas (RWHIZ). Participants included Raúl Pacheco Pérez, director of the INAH Center in Zacatecas; Ma. de Jesús Muñoz Reyes, director of the Zacatecas Institute of Culture “Ramón López Velarde” (IZC); and Carlos Augusto Torres Pérez, director general of RWHIZ, along with their respective technical and operational teams.
During the meeting, INAH, RWHIZ, and IZC signed a Collaboration Agreement aimed at combining resources and efforts for the co-publication of books on topics related to the promotion, dissemination, and research of World Heritage sites such as the Historic Center of Zacatecas, the Camino Real de Tierra Adentro (Royal Road of the Interior), and the Wixárika Route through Sacred Sites to Wirikuta.
The meeting highlighted the importance of coordinating institutional efforts to strengthen the dissemination of world heritage, and noted that the resulting publications will be a key tool for reinforcing regional identity linked to inscribed heritage.
With this Collaboration Agreement, the three institutions committed to working together on content development, editorial production, and national and international promotion of future publications, the first of which will be printed during the first quarter of 2026.
